Inspired by the prairie and rolling woodlands of Kansas, Firekeeper Course opened in 2011 and has hosted multiple Professional Tournaments as well as a number of elite Amateur events. Designed by 4-time PGA Tour Winner Notah Begay III and Jeff Brauer, ASGCA, Firekeeper was built with minimal disturbance to the existing land.

This is the second time Firekeeper Golf Course has hosted the Kansas Amateur.
