The main goal of this league is to have fun and get everyone out mid-week, so the rules and scoring are geared towards that. So check out the Rules and Info tab at the top right.

That being said, there will be a competitive aspect to it as well. The league will be handicapped so that everyone has a chance to win. Points will be awarded for how you place in each week’s tournament in addition to just for showing up. So the more events you play, the better you will place in the standings.

 

We will try to have 4 major tournaments that will be 18 holes and played on a sat or sun. The season will conclude in Fed Ex Cup style with the standings being re-calibrated so that everyone has a chance to win going into the final events, however the better you do during the regular season the better your chances are. There will be either a cash prize or gifts for the 1, 2 and 3^rd place finishers for the season.

 

A portion of the entry fee is used to pay for this league software and website. The app will allow us to use live scoring from our phones, automatic uploading of scores, maintaining everyone’s handicap, auto tee sheet after confirming attendance email, etc. This will not only make it easier administratively but it will be cool to see live scoring (adjusted for handicap) while on the course as well.
