FORMAT: 2-man teams, Modified Chapman scored at Gross (alternate shot with selected drives.) A maximum score of TRIPLE BOGEY will be allowed on each hole. If your group reaches this maximum score, please pick up for the hole to help with Pace of Play.
REGISTRATION:
Opens - Monday, March 3rd at 9AM
Closes - Friday, March 24th at 9AM
Registering your team does not guarantee your position into the active field as all teams will be placed into the Random Lottery system upon registering. Teams that did not get into the event from previous years will have priority in the Lottery system.
CHECK IN: Player registration will be held on the patio on the south side of the clubhouse. Players will only need to check in for Round 1. At registration you will receive your tee gifts as well as lunch tickets for both days. Please make sure and give yourself plenty of time to check in, warm up (range balls will be available by the shed on the range), check in for a golf cart and then take your family photo.
YARDAGE: Ages 13 to 64 play from the GOLD Tees / Ages 65 and older play from the SILVER Tees.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all male amateurs or professionals ages 13 and older (by the first day of competition) with at least one member of each team having an active AZ GOLF membership. Every player does need an ACTIVE GHIN NUMBER for the team to be eligible.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
Saturday, June 7 First Round
6:40 a.m. tee time start from the #1 tee on each course
Sunday, June 8 Final Round
6:40 a.m. tee time start from the #1 tee on each course.
(Special requests will be allowed for medical reasons or airline flight accommodations ONLY and can not be guaranteed. You must provide documentation to AZ GOLF staff before entry for consideration (i.e., airline ticket confirmation or doctor's certificate).
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds may be scheduled by calling Antelope Hills Golf Shop at (928) 776-7888. Please mention that you are a competitor in the event.
PAIRINGS: Tournament pairings will be emailed to participants by end of day on Monday, June 2nd.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: F&B will be available for purchase throughout each day. Each participant will receive a voucher for lunch each day.
PRACTICE FACILITIES: Will be available 45 minutes prior to play.
CADDIES: Caddies are NOT permitted for this event.
GOLF CARTS: The use of golf carts is included in the registration fee, and is mandatory for use at this event for pace of play reasons. AZ GOLF Cart policy (maximum of two riders per cart and a maximum of three golf carts per group) will be enforced. This means if you are a family of three and paired with another family of three, one player from each family will need to share a cart together. Golf carts for your group will be available 30 minutes prior to your starting time.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
- Players who withdraw prior to June 2nd at 9:00am will receive 100% of the entry fee, regardless of the reason, minus a $10 administration fee.
- Players who withdraw after June 2nd at 9:00am will not receive a refund.
Players may withdraw by calling the AZ GOLF office (602) 944-3035 during normal business hours or calling the Withdraw Line at (602) 944-3035 ext. 428 and leaving a message.
PAYOUTS AND PRIZES: Antelope Hills pro shop gift cards will be given to the top finishers. Specific payout amounts will be posted at the event. Gift cards will be mailed to winners if not collected afterward.
FAMILY PHOTOS: Family photos will only be taken on SATURDAY. Photos will be taken by the maintenance shed next to the driving range/putting green. We ask that you are ready to take your photo at least 20 minutes prior to your assigned starting time. The "Best Dressed" family from Round 1 will be awarded Van's Golf Shop gift cards. Hard copies of the photos will be available the following day in the pro shop.
