We are so excited for a great MGA season and there is no better way to start the year off than with this year's Vinoy Cup! Keeping with tradition, we will feature 2 teams competing for the Cup! Introducing our 2 team captains, Cam Childs- MGA President, and Dodd Disler MGA President Emeritus. Starting this year with many years to follow, we will honor two great men, Joey Chambers and John Roether, who meant so much to us and enjoyed great camaraderie that the Vinoy Cup brings. 

 

With your $300 entry fee, you will receive 2 Peter Millar shirts, an MGA branded hat, food and beverage for 2 days, as well as hat pool entry. Registration is open to the first 100 players.

12:30 PM 4-ball Match shotgun start

Food truck dinner following play

Match 2 pairings announced

 

Saturday, October 18th

 

7:30 AM Chick-fil-A breakfast 

8:30 AM Singles Match shotgun start

1:00 PM Lunch and scoring 

 

- The pairings party will take place following the Saturday game in the Pavilion at 12:30 PM! We will have an 8:00 AM shotgun start that morning for all who wish to play. 

 

 

Based on 100 players; 2 teams of 50 each.

 

Friday Matches / 25 points; Saturday Matches / 50 points

 

4 Ball and Singles

1 point = winning team / Individual

0 points = losing team / Individual

½ point = all square team / Individual

 

A team must reach 38 points to win the Cup.

 

Handicaps

All players will play to their 90-day low, pulling from the first-match date.
