Summer Shootout

Saturday, August 17, 2019 - Sunday, August 18, 2019

 

 

FORMAT DESCRIPTION:  2 separate tournaments; 1 each day.  2-man teams play a best ball competition.  The top 10 teams in the best ball tournament get to play in the horserace (a 5-hole alternate shot shootout).  Horserace will start on 10th hole, played from the red tees, in true alternate shot format.  Each hole, 2 teams with highest score on hole will be eliminated (ties will be decided by a chip off).  Max differential between team members is 8 strokes (if greater, then higher handicap player will play down to 8 stroke difference).  

 

TEE TIMES:  10:00 Shotgun Start each day; horserace will start at 4 pm.  This will be an all-day event!

 

GREEN FEES:  $50 per round (cash/check/credit card accepted - paid to club at check-in or pre-paid online thru website); $110 for both days (includes $10 2-day surcharge)

 

CARTS:   Electric carts are available for $15 per person (paid to course directly).  CARTS ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS EVENT!!!!

 

ADDITIONAL ENTRY FEES (OPTIONAL):  Net skins ($5), Gross skins ($5), KPs ($4) and Hole-in-One ($1) must be paid in cash to club at check-in.

 

PAIRING REQUESTS HONORED?:  Yes, pairings requests are happily honored and the tournament comittee will try to accomodate each request, if possible.

 

SCORES POSTED? Scores will be posted as a non-tournament.  ERGC will post scores for all players in the event.
