TERMS OF THE COMPETITION


ELIGIBILITY

This championship is open to male amateur golfers who meet the following requirements:

  • Resident of Tompkins County or
  • A member of a Tompkins County golf course or have full time employment in Tompkins County
  • Men's Division: Must be 18 years or older as of August 9, 2025
  • Senior Division: Must be 55 years or older as of August 9, 2025
  • Super Senior Division: Must be 65 years or older as of August 9, 2025

 

FIELD SIZE AND WAIT LIST

The field is limited to the 60 players who apply. The remaining players will be placed on a waitlist. 

 

ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

  • Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. 

  • Entry Fee: $60. 

  • Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (12PM EST on Wednesday, August 6, 2025). 

  • Refund Policy:

    • Withdrawal PRIOR TO entry deadline: Entry fee

    • Withdrawal AFTER entry deadline: Entry fee less $20

 

FORMAT

The format is 36 holes of individual stroke play (no cut).

 

TEES 

  • Men's Division: Red Tees
  • Senior Division: White Tees
  • Super Senior Division: Gold Tees

 

RULES

All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Saturday, August 9  // Round 1 // Tee times begin ~12:00pm.
Sunday, August 10 // Round 2 // Tee times begin late morning.
 
*Round 2 tee times are ordered by division with the lowest scores off first.

Complete Championship details, including information about pairings and starting times, will be emailed to players and posted on this website shortly after the close of entries.

 

GOLF CARTS

Golf carts are available to rent through the host club pro shop. 

 

RANGE

Range balls will be available for purchase.
