Practice Rounds:  A practice round may be scheduled by calling the golf shop and identifying yourself as a player in the field. Practice round is complimentary. Golf carts are NOT permitted during practice rounds (walking only). Practice rounds are limited only 1 per player.

Starting Times: Play will begin at 8:00 am off of #1.

 

Withdrawals:  Please advise the MGA office immediately at (774) 430-9016 if you are unable to compete.  Failure to advise the MGA office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition.  If there is a need to call the MGA office after the close of business on Friday, September 29th, please call Laura Nochta at 513-800-7948 or via email at lnochta@mgalinks.org.

 

Players (NOT teams/sides) wishing to withdraw, please DO NOT notify the USGA of your withdrawal. Any withdrawals sent to and processed by the USGA Championship Department will result in the withdrawal of your entire team (side). Player’s are permitted to represent their team/side as an individual in both the qualifying event and the Championship Proper.

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 4 qualifying team spots; 2 alternate teams

 

Distance Measuring Devices: A player may obtain distance information by use of a distance measuring device. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play, the player is in breach of Rule 14-3.

 

Automotive Transportation & Caddies: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted. Players are allowed to use push carts - but players should keep in mind that the use of push carts at BGC are not efficent. Caddies are allowed. BGC has approximatly 25 caddies available. Players players wanting to utilize a BGC caddie should call the shop in advance to reserve one. Players may also bring their own caddie.

 

Golf Ball:  The One-Ball Rule will be in effect.  See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.

Golf Shop, Practice Facilities:  Open and available at 7:00am - there will be a shutle to transport players to and from the warm up range. The warm up range (located close to the first tee) will be the only warm up area available for players on the day of competition. 

 

Food & Beverage: The restaurant/grill room will be open and available for players to starting at 11:00 am (cash and credit are both accepted in the clubhouse). There is also a snack bar  located ground floor of the clubhouse that will be open during play (cash and credit is also accepted here).

 

Dress Code:  Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the U.S.Women's Amateur Four-Ball application.
