Welcome to our Fairmont UK and Ireland Golf Open 2025. The perfect opportunity to join us for an unforgettable experience in the heart of golf at Fairmont St Andrews. Featuring a two night bed & breakfast stay in our luxurious twin or double deluxe rooms, two rounds of championship golf over our Torrance and Kittocks courses.

 

Along with this we will also have welcome drinks, an optional practice round, a relaxed dinner with entertainment and a celebratory prize giving to end the weekend.

Tournament Format

 

Pairs Better Ball - Stableford

• Enter as a team of two players which can be made up from any male/female combination. Alternatively, enter as a single golfer and Fairmont St Andrews will assist with pairing you with another single.
• Entry is open to any golfer with a valid WHS handicap, with a maximum handicap index of 36.
• Players will use 85% of their adjusted course handicap and will play from the designated Fairmont tee markers - yellow for men and red for ladies
• Live tournament scoring via the Golf Genius app.

 

Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 pairs and there will also be on-course prizes such as nearest the pin, longest drive and for a hole in one.

The closing date for entries is Friday 22nd August 2025. Tee times for each tournament day will be assigned after sign-up closes.

 

Accommodation 

 

• Two nights bed and breakfast in a Fairmont Twin/Double Deluxe room from the 12th to 14th September 2025.
• Options of single room requests or additional nights are available before and after the event.
• A non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking and the package excludes airport transfers, Fairmont Spa packages and treatments.

 

Golf

 

• Three rounds of golf, including one practice round on Friday and two tournament rounds on Saturday and Sunday. Welcome gifts available prior to your first round.
• Halfway house and on-course refreshments and snacks available throughout each tournament day.
• Complimentary access to the practice facilities and driving range for the duration of your stay.
• Complimentary push trolleys available for each round, with golf carts available at a cost of £55 per round. Caddies are also available (subject to availability) upon request, with 48 hours notice required and at a cost of £65 plus gratuity (paid in cash directly to the caddy upon completion of your round).
