DATES: Sunday, September 14th, 2025
FORMAT: 18 holes of four-ball stroke play at Gross and Net within flights and divisions. There will be a maximum score of double par on each hole. Please pick up after you reach the maximum score.
ELIGIBILITY: Depending on the division selected:
Men's Division: Each team must be comprised of two male amateur players, both players must be AZ GOLF members in good standing.
Women's Division: Each team must be comprised of two female amateur players, both players must be AZ GOLF members in good standing.
Mixed Division: Each team must be comprised of one female amateur player and one male amateur player, both players must be AZ GOLF members in good standing.
HANDICAPPING: All players will receive 85% of their individual course handicap.
Players will be flighted based on the Low Handicap Index player's Handicap as of September 8th.
FIELD SIZE: 80 players
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 4:00 pm
YARDAGE: Projected yardages are posted on the portal. The yardage is subject to change at the discretion of the AZ GOLF staff.
SKINS GAME: There will be an optional $20 team skins game. Players can buy in at registration.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

3:00 p.m. - 6:10 p.m. tee times from #1 tee
PRACTICE ROUNDS: There will be no discounted Practice Round fee. Practice Rounds may be booked by calling the Grass Clippings golf shop at 480-530-9880.
PAIRINGS: Tournament pairings will be emailed to participants by end of day on Monday, September 8.
PRACTICE FACILITY: Will be available one hour prior to play.
CADDIES: Caddies are permitted for the event. They must agree to walk at all times unless there is an available seat in one of the player’s carts. Caddies riding in a cart MUST NOT displace a player.
GOLF CARTS: The use of golf carts is included in the registration fee; however, players are permitted to walk if interested. AZ GOLF Cart policy (maximum of two riders per cart and maximum of two carts per group) will be enforced.
In addition, the following policies will be enforced:
- Spectator carts are not permitted for insurance reasons, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Carts are assigned only to contestants. A caddie may use a cart only if a contestant is not displaced by such use.
- Restrictions on cart use for players are at the discretion of the Host Site and all players are bound by those requirements, subject to withdrawal for violations of that policy. Any such restrictions will be posted at the tournament site.
- Carts must be kept on paths if available near greens and tees.
- Any non-player riding with a player is considered a caddie and subject to any potential Rules violations.
- Pull carts are permitted as long as not in conflict with the Host Club rules.
WITHDRAW POLICY:
- Players who withdraw prior to the close of registration will receive 100% of the entry fee, regardless of reason, minus a $10 administration fee.
- Players who withdraw after the close of registration will not receive a refund.
Players may withdraw by calling the AZ GOLF office (602) 944-3035 during normal business hours or calling the Withdraw Line at (602) 944-3035 ext. 428 and leaving a message.
PAYOUTS: Van's Golf Shop gift cards will be given to top finishers. Specific payout amounts will be posted at the event. Gift cards will be mailed to winners following the event.
