Men’s League 2019

Tuesday May 14th - Tuesday July 10th

 

Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and, where applicable, by the modified Local Rules and the following additions.

 

Times:                5pm Shotgun on Tuesdays

 

Entry Fee:          $100 per player, Includes the league

 

Tees:  Rotating tees in this order by week: Blue;  Blue/White Combo; White

 

Format:              9-Hole Fourball Match Play

                                    Optional weekly cash skins contest

                                    Weekly Long Putt and two Closest to the Hole contests (included in fee)

 

Handicap:   100% of course handicap wheeled off of low player in the match

 

Points:   Each hole is worth 1 point and the winner of the match will receive 1
                           point.  If a team does not show at all for a match, the opposing team will receive 7 points.  They must play                            at least 5 holes to receive these points.  The match that does not show gets 0 points.

Reminders:  If a ruling question arises, you may play a second ball for the remainder of the hole, stating your intention to use                               the score of the second ball and a decision will be made regarding the score for that hole as soon as feasibly possible.

 

 

GPS/Rangefinder Devices:  Yardage measuring devices are allowed for play.

 

 

 

 

Inclement Weather:

In the event of severe or threatening weather, the following signals will be used:

Suspend Play – Continuous Hi-Lo Tone (1 loud siren of differing tones)

Resume Play – Continuous solid tone (1 loud, continuous siren)
