EVENT: 29th Georgia Senior and Super Senior Women's Championship

 

SITE: Big Canoe Golf Club

 

DATE: May 18-19, 2026

 

FIELD SIZE: Low 120 entries by USGA Handicap Index. The number of players to be determined for each division (Championship, Tournament, Super Senior) will be based on lowest USGA Handicap Indexes at the close of entries. Within each division players will generally be in flights of 12 players.

 

FORMAT: 36 holes of individual, flighted stroke play. Championship division is gross stroke play. Tournament & Super Senior Divisions are gross and net stroke play.

 

PRACTICE ROUND:

 

  • One practice round per player.

 

  • Practice round, cart, and range fee is $50 plus tax. 

 

  • Available two weeks prior to competition based on availability. Call Big Canoe Golf Club to reserve after acceptance confirmation.

 

CADDIES: Players may provide their own caddie. GSGA’s Cart/Caddie Policy will be in effect (one bag/one butt), either the player or caddie may ride but not both at the same time.

 

YARDAGES & TEES: Combination of tee markers and yardages will be used. Practice yardage sheet available after entries close under the Player Information tab on the event portal.

 

StrackaLine yardage books are available at discounted rates:

 

  • Yardage: $25, Greens: $30, Combo: $35

 

  • Order via provided link under the Player Information tab.

 

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: Open at 7:30 a.m. each day of competition.

 

STARTING TIMES: Assigned by GSGA and posted on the event portal starting May 11th.

 

REGISTRATION: No formal on-site registration. Withdrawals must be called or emailed to the Official In Charge listed above.

 

FOOD SERVICE: Available in clubhouse. Credit cards ONLY.

 

PRIZES: Trophies are presented to the overall winners of each division. Gift cards will be presented to the top TBA for each division.

 

REFUND POLICY:

 

  • A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries.

 

  • Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.

 

  • Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling or emailing the Official In Charge listed above.
