USGA Open Local Qualifying

Registration: Apply to Play

 

Format: 18-hole Individual Stroke Play

 

Eligibility: Limited to male golfers with a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 0.4

 

Field Size: The field is limited to 78 players

 

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds MUST be made via the GAP registration system that will be sent out to the field. Available on 4/29 from 12-4pm. The practice round fee will be $78 including cart. Carts for the practice round are encouraged for pace of play. 

 

Starting Times: There will be a morning only wave of play from Nos. 1 and 10 tee.

 

Automotive Transportation: Automotive transportation is NOT permitted in this event. Players and their caddies must walk during the round. The Country Club of York allows the use of push carts. 

 

Ties: There will be a playoff at the conclusion of play for ties for the last qualifying positions and alternate positions.

 

USGA Recommended Qualifying Yardage: Various yardages will be used based off the Country Club of York's " I " yardage from approximately 6700 yards.
