USGA Amateur Local Qualifying

Registration: Apply to Play

 

Format: 18-hole Individual Stroke Play

 

Eligibility: Limited to male golfers with a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 0.4 

 

Field Size: The field is limited to 120 players

 

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds are available on the following dates:

 

Tuesday, June 16 from 2:00-4:00pm

Wednesday, June 17 from 9:00-11:00am

Thursday, June 18 from 2:00-4:00pm

Friday, June 19 from 9:00-11:00am

Tuesday, June 23 from 2:30-4:30am

 

All practice rounds must be booked by emailing Head Golf Professional, Ian Dalzell, at idalzell@hvccpa.org. 

All practice rounds require a completed club registration form to be submitted in advance of play.

Practice round greens fees will be $100 per player (incl. cart). 1 additional non-competing guest (caddies, etc) will be permitted to play in the group. 

Walking and carrying is not permitted for practice rounds.

 

 

Starting Times: Morning and afternoon waves starting on Nos. 1 and 10.

 

Automotive Transportation : Automotive transportation is NOT permitted in this event. Players and their caddies must walk during the round. Players wishing to secure a club caddie should contact Caddie Master Spencer Tobin at stobin@hvccpa.org.  The caddie fee is $100 which includes gratuity.  The use of push carts is NOT permitted at Huntingdon Valley Country Club.

 

Ties: There will be a playoff at the conclusion of play for ties for the last qualifying positions and alternate positions.

 

USGA Recommended Qualifying Yardage: 6,800 to 7,300 yards.
