DATES: October 17-18, 2026
FORMAT:
Day 1: 18 holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play, under Rule 23, with modified Stableford scoring.
Day 2: 18 holes of Individual Stroke Play, modified Stableford scoring with aggregate score of partners. Each partner receives 100 percent of her Course Handicap.
Players will choose which division they wish to compete in (Championship or Field) upon registration. Players must compete in the Championship division if they wish to earn POY points. If both partners are ages 50+ in the Championship division, players will earn an equal amount of Senior POY points as they do POY points. Championship division will only payout for GROSS.
STABLEFORD SCORING SYSTEM: The following scoring will be used for the duration of the competition:
- Double Eagle: 8 points
- Eagle: 6 points
- Birdie: 4 points
- Par: 2 points
- Bogey: 1 point
- Double Bogey or more: 0 points
HANDICAPPING: The Field Division will be flighted, flights will be determined using the low players Handicap Index on the team as of October 10th, 2026.
Players will receive 85% of their individual course handicap throughout the competition.
FIELD SIZE: 80 players (40 teams)
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: October 10, 2026 at 4 p.m.
YARDAGE: Projected yardages are posted on the portal. The yardages are subject to change at the discretion of the AZ GOLF staff.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all female amateurs who have an active AZ GOLF membership in good standing. All players must also adhere to the Tournament and Player Regulations which can be found HERE.

SKINS GAME: There will be an optional $20 skins game per team. Net for Field and Gross for Championship. Players can buy in at registration each day.
PAYOUTS: We pay out the top 1/3 of the field with payouts issued as Van’s Golf Shop gift cards; Overall Net will be awarded from the Field Division, Overall Gross from the Championship Division, and flight winners will also be recognized.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds will be available by calling the Torreon Golf Shop. Please mention you are playing in the AZ GOLF event. Practice round rate of $130.00 + tax.
PAIRINGS: Tournament pairings will be emailed to participants by end of day on October 11, 2026.
PRACTICE FACILITY: Will be available one hour to play.
CADDIES: Caddies are permitted for the event. They must agree to walk unless there is an available seat in one of the player’s carts. Caddies riding in a cart MUST NOT displace a player.
GOLF CARTS: The use of golf carts is included in the registration fee; however, players are permitted to walk if interested. AZ GOLF Cart policy (maximum of two riders per cart and maximum of two carts per group) will be enforced.
In addition, the following policies will be enforced:
- Spectator carts are not permitted for insurance reasons, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Carts are assigned only to contestants. A caddie may use a cart only if a contestant is not displaced by such use.
- Restrictions on cart use for players are at the discretion of the Host Site and all players are bound by those requirements, subject to withdrawal for violations of that policy. Any such restrictions will be posted at the tournament site.
- Carts must be kept on paths if available near greens and tees.
- Any non-player riding with a player is considered a caddie and subject to any potential Rules violations.
- Pull carts are permitted as long as not in conflict with the Host Club rules.
WITHDRAW POLICY:
- Players who withdraw prior to the close of registration will receive 100% of the entry fee, regardless of reason, minus a $10 administration fee.
- Players who withdraw after the close of registration will not receive a refund.
Players may withdraw by calling the AZ GOLF office at (602) 944-3035 during normal business hours or calling the Withdraw Line at (602) 944-3035 ext. 428 and leaving a message.
