Welcome to the WA Golf Winter Series – February 2-Person Shamble

 

*WA Golf will be implementing online scorecards via the Golf Genius App as the official scoring method for this competition. As such, all participants must agree to use their mobile devices for scoring purposes on the day of the competition.*

Event Details

Date: Friday, February 20, 2026

Location: High Cedars Golf Club, Orting, WA.

Format: 2-Person Shamble, with a Men’s and Women’s Division. All players will play from the teeing area and select the best drive of the team. Each player will then put a ball into play within a club length of that spot and complete play of the hole with his/her own ball. The lower score will count as the team score for the hole.

Flights: Flights within each Division will be determined by playing handicap.

Handicaps: Handicap Indexes on Wednesday, February 18 will be used for the tournament. Playing Handicaps for net scoring will be determined by using 75% of a player's Course Handicap.

Starting Time/Pairings: 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Players can make pairing requests during online registration. Requests will be accepted up until the registration deadline.

Eligibility Requirements: Entrants must be members in good standing of a WA Golf member club, with a maximum handicap index of 54.0.

Age limit: No age limit

Field Limit: 60 Teams* (Men – 46 teams | Women – 14 teams)
*WA Golf reserves the right to modify field limits for men and women to achieve a full field.

Entry Fee: $200 per team

Cart Fee: Players may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $50 per team and will be collected during registration.

Entry Deadline: Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

Entry Includes: Green fees, range balls, tee prize, $10 Puetz Bucks and a $3,600* merchandise payout (*based on a full field).

Course Yardage: Subject to change based on weather and course conditions: Men – 6,253 Yards, Women – 5,336 Yards.

Winter Series Challenge Sponsored by Puetz Golf: Players receive participation points for each event entered as well as for top overall gross and net finishes in each event. $3,000 in Puetz Golf merchandise certificates will be distributed to the top season-long men's and women's points finishers. Each contestant will also receive $10 Puetz Bucks for each event they participate in.
