FORMAT:   ALTERNATE SHOT (“PINEHURST” or “CHAPMAN”):  Both players tee off on every hole; each player then plays their partner’s ball for the second stroke. After the second stroke, partners select one ball and play that ball alternately until the ball is holed. The same ball shall never be stroked consecutively by the same player. Penalty strokes do not alter the sequence of play; however, they are, of course, added to the team’s score returned for that particular hole. Unless “Preferred Lies” are in effect, each player plays his partner’s ball “as it lies”.

Please note that handicaps are not applicable for this event. Everyone will play from scratch. A minimum of three professional/child teams in any age group will constitute a separate professional division. Additional practice rounds are NOT included for those participating in the Parent/Child Tournament.

There will be four overall contests: all Girls, Boys 11 & Under, Boys 12-14, and Boys 15-18.

All players will receive a box-lunch prior to the shotgun start.
