ABOUT THE EVENT

After discussion amongst the Tournament Committee, their recommendation, and with approval from the North Florida PGA Board of Directors, we are excited to announce that the North Florida PGA Section Championship and the North Florida PGA Professional Championship Qualifier will merge into one premier event.  This exciting evolution will elevate the competition and further showcase the incredible talent within our Section. Combining these two great events into one Championship offers several key benefits, including:

1. Reduced Time Away from Work.

2. Lower Personal Expenses (Hotel, Travel, Food & Beverage).

3. Larger Purse: Sponsor dollars will be pooled into one Championship instead of being split between two events.

4. More Qualifying Spots in the Future: A combined event with a larger field will help secure additional qualifying spots into the National PPC moving forward.

5. Premier Venue Availability: A combined event allows greater ease for the Section to secure a premier venue for one marquee championship.

6. Enhanced Tournament Experience: This merger builds anticipation for a marquee event players can look forward to while maintaining the excitement and competitiveness of a multi-faceted championship.

 

ENTRY FEE

$350.00

• Late entries are received up to 48 hours after the deadline and are subject to a $50 late fee.
• Withdrawals made before the entry deadline will receive a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee.
• Withdrawals made after the entry deadline but at least 48 hours before the event start date will receive a 50% refund.
• Withdrawals made within 48 hours of the event start date will not be eligible for a refund.

• 54-Hole Individual Stroke Play
• Cut to Low 60 & Ties Following 36-Holes

 

ELIGIBILITY

Open to PGA Members in Good Standing

• EXCEPTION - A-3, Life Member (LM), Life Member Master (LMM), Retired Member (RM), Class F, & Associates are Not Eligible

 

Qualifying Spots for PPC

• The NFPGA is allocated (6) qualifying positions & (4) alternate positions.

  • 7:30 AM - Round 2 (Double Tee Start)

YARDAGES

• Male Professional = Approximately 6,900 yards
• Female Professional = Approximately 85% of Male Professional yardage
