78th USGA Junior Amateur Qualifying

Registration: Apply to Play

 

Format: 18-hole Individual Stroke Play

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to male amateur golfers who: (1) will not have reached their nineteenth birthday by midnight of July 25, 2026 (M) (2) have an up-to-date Handicap Index® based on ratings for men not exceeding 2.4 under the Rules of Handicapping.

 

Field Size: The field will be limited be to the first 78 men who register to play.

 

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds can only be made via the GAP registration system that will be sent out to the field after the close of entries on May 13th. Practice rounds cannot be booked by calling Saucon Valley CC. Available on 6/9 and 6/10 after 1:30pm. The practice round fee will be $75 plus a cart fee of $47.50 if players would like to ride. 

 

Starting Times: Morning and afternoon starting off Nos. 1 and 10.

 

Automotive Transportation : Automotive transportation is NOT permitted in this event. Players and their caddies must walk during the round. EXCEPTION: A player must not use a parent, step parent, or guardian as a caddie during Qualifying or the Championship proper. PENALTY: See Model Local Rule H-1.2 in Section 8 of the Official Guide to the Rules of Golf.

 

Ties: There will be a playoff at the conclusion of play for ties for the last qualifying positions and alternate positions.

 

USGA Recommended Qualifying Yardage for Junior Amateur: 7,100 to 7,400 yards
