RULES AND INFORMATION SHEET * June 25, 2018

 

• 1:00 Shotgun start      
• ALL CARTS MUST REMAIN ON THE CART PATHS AROUND ALL TEES & GREENS! 
• Format:  4-PERSON SCRAMBLE
  • All players tee off, pick one ball, and everyone plays from there.  Continue in this manner until the ball is holed.
  • MEN play GOLD tees, LADIES play GREEN tees
  • You may move the ball one club length from where it lies, NO CLOSER TO THE HOLE.  YOU MUST STAY IN THE SAME CUT OF GRASS, i.e. the ball may not move from the rough to the fairway.  YOU MAY NOT MOVE A BALL ONTO A PUTTING GREEN OR OUT OF A HAZARD, such as a bunker.  On the putting green you may move the ball one PUTTERHEAD length from where it lies, no closer to the hole.
  • Double Bogey is the maximum two-person team score on any hole. 
  • Each player must use at least one drive on both the front and back nine.
• The payoff will be in two different divisions, net and gross.  Handicaps used in the net division will be special scramble handicaps.  Three places will be awarded in each division.  Teams cannot win in both divisions.  All ties will be broken according to USGA recommendations.
• Mulligans: $40 per team.  If purchased, mulligans will allow for one extra shot for each player on the front and the back nine.  If a player decides to use their mulligan that becomes the shot in play for that player.  They do not have a choice between their first and second (or mulligan) shot.
