2026 Bill Cass Senior Four-Ball Championship Information

Entry Fee: $600 ($625 credit or debit) per team

Registration Deadline: Friday, April 10th, 2026 @ 5:00PM

 

Eligibility: All Four-Ball participants must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as specified in the USGA Rules of Golf. All participants in State Championships are required to have an active GHIN Handicap through a USGA Licensed Mississippi Club. All participants must also be bona fide residents of the state of Mississippi for at least 60 days prior to the tournament.

 

Format: Field size is limited to first 120 players/60 Teams. The tournament is scheduled for 54 holes of four-ball stroke play. If conditions necessitate the championship being shortened, it will be done at the conclusion of a stipulated round. Each division will be flighted following 36 holes of play. Ties are split by the USGA recommended scorecard method.

 

Practice Round: Practice rounds are available on Thursday, April 16th at a rate of $25. Please contact Natchez Golf Club (601.442.5955) to schedule practice rounds.

 

Championship Divisions & Yardages: Senior (50-59) - app. 6,400 yards, Super Senior (60-69) - app. 6,000 yards, Grand Master (70+) - app. 5,500 yards

 

Player Check-In: There will be no player check-in on Thursday. Players will receive their tee gift at scoring following Round 1.

 

Player Food & Beverage: At this time there will be no Food & Beverage provided for this Championship. Players may make purchases in the grill using cash or credit.

 

Cart Fees: All cart and green fees are included in the tournament entry fee.

* MGA Cart Policy - there will be a maximum of 2 carts per group and 2 individuals per cart. *

 

Spectator Carts: Spectator carts will not be permitted during this championship with the exception of a spectator who can provide an issued and active Handicap Permit. Final decision will be made by the MGA Staff and also the availability of carts at the host facility.

 

Caddies: Caddies are permitted during the championship. Players are responsible for supplying their own caddie.

CADDIES MUST WALK AT ALL TIMES.

 

Pairings: Pairings for the opening round will be released and updated on the MGA website by Monday, April 20th. Pairings will also be included in the Player Information that will be emailed to each player by Monday, April 20th.

 

Electronic Measuring Devices: Electronic devices that measure distance only are permitted for this championship.

 

Withdrawal Policy: In the event of a tournament withdraw; the player must notify the Mississippi Golf Association Office at 601-939-1131. If withdraw is made prior to tournament deadline, the player may receive a refund regardless of reason less a $25 administrative fee. For a withdraw made after the entry deadline, the player WILL NOT receive a refund unless the player has experienced a sudden illness or injury, a signed Doctor's note is provided, and only if the Mississippi Golf Association is notified prior to the first round of the tournament.
