EVENT: 41st Women's Team Tournament

 

SITE: Jekyll Island GC - Great Dunes

 

DATE: September 9-10, 2026

 

FIELD SIZE: 60 teams; Teams will play in both gross and net divisions. Field will be expanded if 80 teams enter, with a maximum of 100 teams.

 

FORMAT: 36 holes, Gross and Net flighted competitions will be played simultaneously by all players and trophies will be awarded to both champions. All players will play from one set of tees/yardages (approximately 5000-5400 yards) and 90% of your handicap index.

 

  • Round 1 - Four-Ball (Gross & Net)

 

  • Round 2 - Scramble.

 

PRACTICE ROUND:

 

  • One practice round per player.

 

  • Practice round, cart, and range fee is $50 plus tax. 

 

  • Available two weeks prior to competition based on availability. Call Jekyll Island GC to reserve after acceptance confirmation.

 

CADDIES: Players may provide their own caddie. GSGA’s Cart/Caddie Policy will be in effect (one bag/one butt), either the player or caddie may ride but not both at the same time.

 

YARDAGES & TEES: Combination of yardages will be used. Practice yardage sheet available after entries close under the Player Information tab on the event portal.

 

StrackaLine yardage books are available at discounted rates:

 

  • Yardage: $25, Greens: $30, Combo: $35

 

  • Order via provided link under the Player Information tab.

 

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: Open at 7:30 a.m. each day of competition.

 

STARTING TIMES: Assigned by GSGA and posted on the event portal starting March 10th.

 

REGISTRATION: No formal on-site registration. Withdrawals must be called or emailed to the Official In Charge listed above.

 

FOOD SERVICE: Available in clubhouse. Credit cards ONLY.

 

PRIZES: Trophies are presented to the overall winners of each division. Gift cards will be presented to the top TBA for each division.

 

REFUND POLICY:

 

  • A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries.

 

  • Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.

 

  • Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling or emailing the Official In Charge listed above.
