78th Metropolitan Senior Men's Championship Information

 Method of Play

 Eligibility

36-Hole, Individual Stroke Play

 

Field will be divided into the following divisions:

• Championship
• Super Senior
• Don Gill Flight (Ages 50-54)
• John Wood II Flight (Ages 55-59)
• Dr. Harry Duccilli Flight (Ages 60-64)
• Bill Deupree Flight (Ages 65-69)
• Tony Blom Flight (Ages 70+)

 

In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden-death playoff to determine a sole Championship or Super Senior division winner. Conditions of the playoff will be announced on-site by the GCGA Rules Committee.

 

 

The 2026 Champion will be locally exempt for the 2027 U.S. Senior Open.

 

Eligibility for this event and its divisions is limited to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

 

• Must have an active GHIN membership for the current year - Register Now or Visit Your Local Facility
• Must have created a Player's Account Through Golf Genius - Register Now
• All players must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
• Participants must be male.
• Participants must be 50 years of age or older on the first day of the Championship.
• Participants must be 65 years of age or older on the first day of the Championship to play in the Super Senior Division.

Round 1 Tee Times will begin at 7:30am. Round 2 Tee Times will be based off Round 1 scores and will begin at 7:30am.
