Pre-Golf Reminders:
Possible inclement weather warning: please be prepared accordingly…
• Could ALL golfers please ensure arrival a minimum of an hour prior to designated tee-times
• On arrival, player/team registration (upstairs as you enter the Clubhouse)
• Team Captains, please “download” Golf Genius app, a code will be provided at registration to enable LIVE scoring of all Groups throughout the day (please ensure all handicaps are confirmed at registration)
• Complimentary drinks & snacks for on-course “energy” will be offered to all participants at registration
• Breakfast: bacon rolls + tea/coffee
• Pro-Shop downstairs for any last minute golfing needs
• Range balls & putting green available for those “keen” golfers…
• DBD Testimonial Merchandise available for purchase throughout the day
At registration, all players are kindly requested, optional decision, to enter:
• ”Beat The Pro” (5th Hole, Hims) vs Richard Perkins, RJP Golf Coaching (PGA Professional & my personal swing coach) who coaches @ Etchinghill GC, Folkestone, Kent CT18 8FA
• Entry Fee: £10 per player
• ALL entry fees/donations will be allocated to DBD’s nominated charities:
• CRY (Cardiac Risks in the Young)
• Iggy’s Fund
• Platform Cricket

• Prize: All players who “beats” the Pro, will be qentered into a Prize Draw for an Under Armour Golf Goodie Bag
• “Heads & Tails” Competition (post-golf)

Golf Competition:
There’s NO “I” in Team so the day is all about TEAMWORK…
• The best 2 stableford scores from each hole counting, all scores to be entered into Golf Genius App, per hole
• To ensure unnecessary delays, no stroke & distance applied (place ball by side of where ball entered the “rough”, one shot penalty)
• Out of Bounds Rule (white stakes) still applies, shot & distance
• A MAXIMUM of 2 minutes to search for “errant” balls & the mantra is “keep it moving..!!”
• Half-Way House: downstairs in the Pro-Shop
Golf Prizes:
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd Team Prizes
• 2 x Nearest the Pin (5th Hole, Shore & 5th Hole, Hims)
Post-Golf Activities:
• With the possible inclement weather in mind, a reminder that shower facilities are available in the Men’s Changing Rooms downstairs
• Luncheon: Steak & Ale Pie with Mash Potato, Spring Greens and Gravy * Prince’s Sticky Toffee Pudding, Toffee Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream
• Dress Code: Smart Casual or Golf Attire
• A “rolling” two course luncheon will be served upstairs as groups complete their rounds & have decompressed…
• PLEASE ensure that groups remain together & dine in a timely manner to assist the catering staff
• There will a number of additional attendees arriving (Kent Cricket Staff & other supporters)
• Throughout luncheon, raffle tickets will be offered for a plethora of exciting prizes
