FORMAT

  • 18 Holes, individual, stroke play.
  • Qualifying Spots available: TBD    Alternate Spots: 2
  • In the event of a tie for the final qualifying spot or alternate position, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play.
  • This is a WALKING ONLY event.  Both players and caddies must walk.

 

ENTRY FEE

  • $200

 

REGISTRATION 

  • To register, go to USGA Championship Application Website.
  • Registration will open on Wednesday, February 18, 2025, 8:00 am (CST)
  • Deadline is Wednesday, April 8, 2025, 4:00 pm (CDT)
  • Maximum field: 84
  • A waitlist of 10 players will be created and managed by the USGA.

  • 8:00 - 10:00 am, #1/10 tees

 

EXPECTED QUALIFYING COURSE SETUP

  • Length: 6,698 yards | Par: 71 | Ratings: 73.0/136

RULES AND INFORMATION

  • The Rules of Golf, the USGA Terms of Competition (Hard Card), and all Local Rules established specifically for the Qualifying will be in effect. Local Rules for this event will be available under the Course Details tab.  

 

DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES

  • Players are permitted to use distance-measuring devices that measure distance only. 
  • The slope function must be disabled.

 

PACE OF PLAY / PLAYER CONDUCT / DRESS CODE

  • Please refer to the "Rules/Resources" tab for Pace of Play, Player Conduct and Dress Code policies.

 

CADDIE POLICY 

  • Players may use a Caddie unless prohibited or restricted by a Local Rule.
  • A player is responsible for the behavior and attire of their caddie.
  • Club caddies are available for $80/round + tip; Call Golf Shop to schedule a caddie

 

DIGITAL SCORING

  • Scoring will be done by use of the Golf Genius App. Players should have the app downloaded on their phones and be prepared to keep score. The player GGID will be sent via text and email to all players the night before each round using the cell phone number and email in their profile. 

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

  • Adults - $75 walking; Juniors - $50 walking (Cart $32 extra); Players only; Limited to 1 per player
  • Wednesdays & Saturdays after 3p; Sunday, May 3 after 2p;
  • Please call the North Oaks Golf Shop (651) 484-1635 and identify yourself as a US Open Local Qualifying contestant to schedule a practice round after entries close.

 

YARDAGE & GREENS BOOKS

  • Participants are allowed to use Yardage & Greens books as long as they conform to the Rules of Golf.

CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS

  • To withdraw for any reason, players must notify the USGA directly.
