AGE ELIGIBILITY: Men at least 25 years of age on June 6, 2026

 

FORMAT: 36-holes - Individual Stroke Play

MAX CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD SIZE: 156

 

DIVISIONS: Championship Division and Regular Division (shorter set of tees).

 

FLIGHTING: All players will be pre-flighted using the Handicap Index. The number of flights will be arranged at the close of registration.

 

SDGA MEN'S MATCH PLAY EXEMPTIONS: The Top-3 finishers in the Championship not already exempt will receive an exemption into the 2026 SDGA Men’s Match Play Championship at Moccasin Creek CC on July 30-August 2. The Champion also receives an exemption into the 2027 SDGA Match Play Championship.

 

SDGA ELIGIBILITY:
SDGA Championship registration is open to amateur golfers with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club and plays the majority of their golf in South Dakota. In addition the player must either: 1) have a permanent physical address in South Dakota, or 2) maintain full-time employment within the state. 

 

An out-of-state student physically attending college in South Dakota and enrolled in the current year’s spring, summer, or fall classes with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club is eligible.
