ELIGIBILITY:

Open to female amateur golfers who maintain a residence in the state of Iowa and are members of the IGA.  Individual members are tracked through their enrollment at an IGA Member Club (via GHIN).  College players who are not full-time Iowa residents must be enrolled in an educational institution in the state of Iowa (College or University) for the current calendar year (Spring, Summer, or Fall semesters).

CODE OF CONDUCT: By registering for any Iowa Golf Association (IGA) championship, players acknowledge and agree to abide by the IGA Code of Conduct. FIELD: The 2026 Iowa Women's Amateur will be held concurrently with the 2026 Iowa Senior Women's Amateur. These are two distinctly separate championships with participants NOT paired together unless otherwise noted. The field will be limited to the first 75 players.  There will be one division. However, to accommodate entries to both championships the following field sizes (both Women's Amateur and Senior Women's Amateur) will be administered:

120 total entries between both championships

Women's Amateur - 80

Senior Women's Amateur - 40

CUT POLICY: If 78 players or less are entered there will be no cut made. If 79 players or more are entered, there will be a cut to the low 60 and ties and include those within 10 strokes of the lead. The breakdown of the 60 and ties will be a ratio of entries between the three divisions.

WAITLIST POLICY: IGA Championship field sizes will be set to 5 players less than a full field size (ex: Iowa Women's Amateur field of 80 players will be set to 75 players). At entry close, the IGA will allocate the five remaining spots as exemptions to qualified players deserving of being in the final field, no matter their position on the waitlist. Generally, this will mean players that have historically supported this event or have a history of high finishes at IGA Championships. For players who need to withdraw before the entry deadline but after a waitlist has been created, their spot will be given in the order of first come first serve from the waitlist. The waitlist will be published on the event portal website as soon as it is created.
