ENTRY FEE

$100 per player.

  • $50 for qualifying.
  • $50 to advance to the championship

Players will be automatically charged following the stroke play qualifying round, and no further action from the players will be required.

 

REGISTRATION DATES

Opens (Invitation list): Monday, March 09, 2026 at 09:00 AM

Opens: Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 09:00 AM

Closes: Thursday, June 04, 2026 at 04:00 PM

 

FORMAT

18-hole stroke play qualifying to determine the low 16 players who will advance to match play. 

There will be playoffs immediately following play to determine the final qualifying spots for the Championship.  Players must be present, ties will not be taken.*

PLAYERS MUST WALK

All players must walk for the duration of the championship.

 

ELIGIBILITY

All amateur UGA members who are 12 years of age or older and 18 years of age or younger as of the first day of the match play with the assigned sex of female at birth who have an active USGA Handicap Index are eligible to compete in this championship.  For any player wishing to compete in a gender competition classification that is different than their sex assigned at birth or for any player who has transitioned or is currently transitioning to a gender that is different than their sex assigned at birth, in addition to completing this registration you will also need to follow the processes outlined in the UGA Competitive Fairness Gender Policy and comply with all eligibility requirements therein.

 

DIVISION CAPS

There will be division caps for the qualifying round. If either division is not full by the registration deadline, the remaining spots may be filled by players on a waitlist from the other division:

Boys: 102 maximum

Girls: 42 maximum

 

PACE OF PLAY POLICY

Please see the attached document under Championship Info to review the Pace of Play Policy for this event. It will be strictly enforced.

 

EARLY REGISTRATION INVITATION LIST

Beginning March 9, 2026, players that have received an invitation to register will be able to do so. Players receiving an invitation to early registration have been identified by the UGA's Competitions Committee.

 

STARTING TIMES

Starting times will be e-mailed to players after the registration deadline has passed.

 

CADDIES - NO PARENTS ALLOWED

A player may provide their own caddie. A player may not use a parent, step parent, or guardian as a caddie during qualifying or the championship proper. PENALTY: See Model Local Rule H-1.2. A player is not required to employ a caddie for any stage of the championship.

 

NO CARTS AVAILABLE

There will be no carts available for participants, caddies, or spectators for the qualifying round. Shuttles will be provided to and from viewing areas to accommodate any spectators. Once players have reached Match Play, each player will be allowed to purchase one spectator cart. Click Here for more information.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Players will be responsible for scheduling a practice round by calling the host club. Players are responsible for any fee associated with the practice round.
 

MATCH PLAY COMMITMENT

Any player who intends to withdraw from the tournament during any portion of match play must do so before the match play field is determined. Failure to do so may result in sanctions against the player.

Round of 16 - Monday, June 15 (AM)

Quarterfinals - Tuesday, June 15 (AM)
Semifinals - Tuesday, June 16 (PM)
Finals - Wednesday, June 17 (36-Hole final, AM, PM)

 

LUNCH ONLY PROVIDED ON MATCH PLAY DAYS

Lunch will be provided for players Monday-Wednesday. However, the cafe will be open for players to purchase food & beverages on Saturday for the stroke play qualifying round.

REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS  

If a player withdraws prior to the registration deadline (June 4th at 4:00pm) the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancelation fee.  After the deadline, the player will receive a 50% refund.  Beginning the day before the event, no refunds will be issued if a player withdraws or no shows (For Example, if an event begins on Monday, any withdrawal starting on Sunday will result in no refund). A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day.  In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.
