New in 2026: 24-hour grace period - If a player misses the deadline they must contact the Tournament Director via email within 24 hours of the deadline and if there is room available, they can enter with a $25 late fee added.

Open Division: Max of 48 players
Senior Division: Max of 24 players
Masters/Legends Divisions: Max of 12 players
NOTE:
- There must be at least 8 players to have a division
- If divisions fill up, players will be put on the waitlist for this event

Eligibility Requirements

Open to men with an active GHIN handicap with a KGA member club, affiliate club or KGA EClub
Must also have a valid Golf Genius account

Special Notes / Seeding

NEW IN 2026: THIS EVENT GOES STRAIGHT INTO MATCH PLAY - THERE IS NO STROKE PLAY QUALIFIER
- Players will be seeded off of 2025 Player of the Year rankings, then by handicap
  - Open Division: Top 16 seeds will be from the POY rankings then the remaining by handicap
  - Senior Division: Top 8 seeds will be from the POY rankings then the remaining by handicap
  - Master's/Legends Divisions: Top 4 seeds will be from the POY rankings then the remaining by handicap
NOTE: The defending champion in ALL divisions will automatically earn the #1 seed
NOTE: If divisions don't have the appropriate numbers from the 2025 POY rankings to fill all spots, the seeding will go by handicap earlier in the seeding

Format / Tee Times

Open Division

Senior Division

Tee times will begin at 7:30 AM CT every morning with afternoon rounds beginning approximately 30-45 minutes after the morning match is completed
There will be lunch served for all players on day 1 between rounds
Lunch will be provided by the KGA
This event is WAGR ranked in 2026 for the Open and Senior divisions

Practice Round Details

Carts / Caddies

A cart is included with the entry fee for this championship.
Players are allowed to have a caddy, but they may not be able to ride in the cart.
Players are allowed to walk and have a push cart.
