EVENT: 45th Georgia Mid-Amateur Championship
SITE: Lookout Mountain Club
DATE: October 9- 11, 2026
FIELD SIZE: 120 Players
FORMAT: 54 holes of individual stroke play. After 36 holes of play, the field will be cut to the low 60 scores and ties.
PRACTICE ROUND:
- One practice round per player.
- Practice round, cart, and range fee is $50 plus tax.
- Available two weeks prior to competition based on availability. Call Lookout Mountain Golf Course to reserve after acceptance confirmation.
CADDIES: Players may provide their own caddie. GSGA’s Cart/Caddie Policy will be in effect (one bag/one butt), either the player or caddie may ride but not both at the same time.
YARDAGES & TEES: A combination of tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the qualifying round. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.
StrackaLine yardage books are available at discounted rates: (YARDAGE BOOKS WILL BE PROVIDED COMPLIMENTARY AT REGISTRATION ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8). ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL RICHARD ADAMS AT RADAMS@GSGA.ORG

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: Open at 7:00 a.m. the day of competition.
STARTING TIMES: Assigned by GSGA and posted on the event portal starting October 2nd.
REGISTRATION: Registration will be open to players on Thursday, October 8 from 10am - 4pm and Friday, October 9 from 7:30 - 10:00am. Withdrawals must be called or emailed to the Official In Charge listed above.
FOOD SERVICE: Available in clubhouse. Credit cards ONLY.
PRIZES: A Trophy will be presented to the overall winner. Gift cards will be presented to the top 20 finishers.
REFUND POLICY:
- A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries.
- Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
- Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling or emailing the Official In Charge listed above.
- If a player notifies the GSGA of their withdrawal from a qualifier for the Amateur, Junior, Mid-Amateur, or Match Play Championship after the close of entries, but one week prior to the event date, they will be guaranteed a 50% refund.
