EVENT: 105th Georgia Amateur Championship Qualifying

 

SITE: Savannah Quarters CC

 

DATE: May 11, 2026

 

FIELD SIZE: Maximum of 78 players.

 

FORMAT: 18 hole individual stroke play qualifier. A total of 144 players will advance to the Championship proper. Qualifying places will be awarded according to a pro-rated formula.  You will be informed as to the number of qualifying places in your section the day of qualifying.

 

PRACTICE ROUND:

 

  • One practice round per player.

 

  • Practice round, cart, and range fee is $50 plus tax. 

 

  • Available two weeks prior to competition based on availability. Call Savannah Quarters CC to reserve after acceptance confirmation.

 

CADDIES: Players may provide their own caddie. GSGA’s Cart/Caddie Policy will be in effect (one bag/one butt), either the player or caddie may ride but not both at the same time.

 

YARDAGES & TEES: The BLACK tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the qualifying round.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

 

StrackaLine yardage books are available at discounted rates:

 

  • Yardage: $25, Greens: $30, Combo: $35

 

  • Order via provided link under the Player Information tab.

 

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: Open at 6:30 a.m. the day of competition.

 

STARTING TIMES: Assigned by GSGA and posted on the event portal after the close of entries

 

REGISTRATION: No formal on-site registration. Withdrawals must be called or emailed to the Official In Charge listed above.

 

FOOD SERVICE: Available in clubhouse. Credit cards ONLY.

 

REFUND POLICY:

 

  • A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries.

 

  • Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.

 

  • Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling or emailing the Official In Charge listed above.

 

  • If a player notifies the GSGA of their withdrawal from a qualifier for the Amateur, Junior, Mid-Amateur, or Match Play Championship after the close of entries, but one week prior to the event date, they will be guaranteed a 50% refund.
