FORMAT: 

• Day 1 - Select Drive/Alternate Shot (Both players tee off, pick one ball and alternate from there until the ball is holed)
• Day 2 - SDGA Chapman (Both players tee off and play each other’s drive, then choose one ball and alternate strokes from there until the ball is holed)

 

 

ELIGIBILITY:

• NEW! Mixed Amateur Team Championship (any age - one man and one woman)

• Husband/Wife Championship (any age)

• Senior Husband/Wife Championship (50+ both man and woman)

• Masters Husband/Wife Championship (65+ both man and woman)

• Teams in the Husband/Wife Championships consist of one man and one woman legally married

• Age as of June 27, 2026

ENTRY FEE:

• Early Buy Entry Fee: $250/team by May 27 (SAVE $50)

• Entry After May 27: $300/team 

• Final Entry Deadline: June 17 at 11:59pm CST

• Refund Deadline (90%): June 20

 

MAX CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD SIZE: 208

 

FLIGHTING: All teams will be pre-flighted using the Handicap Index. The number of flights and teams per flight will be arranged at the close of registration. 

 

SDGA ELIGIBILITY:

SDGA Championship registration is open to amateur golfers with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club and plays the majority of their golf in South Dakota. In addition the player must either: 1) have a permanent physical address in South Dakota, or 2) maintain full-time employment within the state. 

 

An out-of-state student physically attending college in South Dakota and enrolled in the current year’s spring, summer, or fall classes with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club is eligible.
