2026 DDWGA Spring Shamble

Entry Fee: $500 per 4 person team + 3.5% credit card fee = $517.50 total

 

Eligibility: Contestants must be female golfers and possess an active USGA World Handicap Index issued from an MVG member club or another local Allied Golf Association.

 

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, at 11:59PM
 

Registration Includes: Greens fee, carts, range balls, awards, and dinner/heavy hors d'oeuvres after play.  A cash bar will be available for those wishing to partake.

 

Start Time: 1:00PM Shotgun Start

 

Rules of Play: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf of the USGA and R&A Limited and where applicable, by the Local Rules and Conditions set forth by the MVG.

 

Dress Code:  Clothing that respects the traditions of the game is required.  Short shorts, tank tops, and jeans of any nature are not permitted.  A non-metal spike is required.

Format of Play: Four-person Shamble.  All players will tee off each hole and will select the best drive of the team’s choice.  From this selected location, each player will play their own ball into the hole.  The best two scores will be used for the team's hole score.  Each team much use a minimum of 3 tee shots from each player.

 

For Net Divisions: Playing Handicaps will be determined using the player's Handicap Index from the Thursday, May 7th, 2026, revision

 

Groupings Available: Groupings will be e-mailed to addresses provided on the entry form and at MiamiValleyGolf.org and on this Event Microsite.

 

Divisions of Play: Determined by the number of entries in relation to each team's combined Handicap Index.

Awards: Both Gross and Net Winners (95% Handicap) will be awarded in each division of play.

Ties:  The USGA recommended scorecard playoff will be used to break all ties. More Detail
 

Withdrawals: If you withdraw prior to the registration deadline, you will be refunded 95% of your registration fee.  Withdrawals after the registration deadline will be handled on a case by case basis.
