Championship to determine the top Four-Ball team in Louisiana in 2026.
Field/Format: Limited to the first 96 team entries. All teams will play 36 holes of Four-Ball stroke play (scratch/no handicaps) over two days (July 18-19).
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM CDT
Entry Fee: $450 per two-man team, which includes a cart fee for the practice round and tournament play.
Refund Policy: Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if LGA office is notified, in writing, before the close of entries. After the close of entries, fee will be refunded only in the event of injury or illness provided notification (accompanied by a doctor's statement) reaches LGA office by July 17, 2026. A $70 service charge will be deducted from all refunds.

Dress Code: Competitors must be neat in appearance and wear appropriate attire. No gym shorts, cutoffs, blue jeans, tee shirts, etc. Shorts must be Bermuda length. Important Note: Pelican Point Golf & Country Club is a spikeless facility and all competitors will be required to wear spikeless shoes.
Eligibility: Entries are open to any Louisiana resident (as of at least 90 days prior to the Championship) who is an amateur golfer (as defined by the USGA) holding membership in a LGA Member Club in good standing (2026 club and individual dues must be paid). Non-amateurs are not eligible. Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the Championship) by the LGA. Reasons for rejection may include unbecoming conduct.
Practice Privileges: Practice privileges are extended to participants in the Championship at Pelican Point Golf & Country Club on July 17, 2026. Cart fee paid by LGA. Contact the golf shop at Pelican Point Golf & Country Club on or after July 11, 2026 to schedule a practice round. Pairings and starting times for the first round of play will be posted at Pelican Point, Friday, July 17, 2026. Pairings and starting times will also be emailed to participants on or about July 10, 2026 and posted on the LGA's website, www.LGAgolf.org.
Prizes/Playoff: Prizes will be awarded to the top five placing teams in the Championship. In case of a tie for the Championship, a sudden-death playoff will take place immediately upon the conclusion of play on Sunday. All other ties, which determine prizes or recognition, will be decided by matching scorecards, per the USGA method.
Rules of Golf: Play will be governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf and LGA Rules of Play Card. All questions will be settled by the LGA Rules Committee, whose decision will be final.
