104th MEN'S METROPOLITAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Dates: Monday through Thursday, June 22nd-25th, 2026
Entry Fee: $300 + 3.5% credit card fee = $310.50
Exemptions: The 2026 Champion will be exempt into the 126th U.S. Amateur at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, August 10-16, 2026 and the 2027 Ohio Amateur Championship. Additionally, the top three finishers & ties will be exempt into Final Qualifying for the 2027 U.S. Amateur.
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, at 11:59PM
Registration Includes: Greens fee, carts, range balls, and awards.
Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:30AM each day of the Championship. Groupings for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be set with the highest scores teeing off first.
Rules of Play: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf of the USGA and R&A Limited and where applicable, by the Local Rules and Conditions set forth by the MVG.
Eligibility: Contestants must reside in the State of Ohio or attend an Educational Institution within the State of Ohio.
Format of Play: 72 holes of Stroke Play. After 36 holes, the low 32 scores and ties will qualify for the final two rounds.
Groupings Available: Groupings will be e-mailed to addresses provided on the entry form and at MiamiValleyGolf.org and on this Event Microsite.
Dress Code: Clothing that respects the traditions of the game is required. Short shorts, tank tops, and jeans of any nature are not permitted. A non-metal spike is required.
Awards: Gift certificates will be awarded to the top 10 finishers.
Playoff: If a tie exists after regulation play, a 3-hole aggregate playoff will determine the Champion. If a tie still exists, a sudden victory playoff will be used to determine the winner.
