Location: Old Toccoa Farm

Eligibility: Entries are open to male amateur golfers who have a handicap index that does not exceed a 10.0.  Five statewide qualifiers and a number of exemptions will determine the 64 participants who will move onto the Championship.

Entries Open: Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 12:00 PM

Entries Close: Wednesday, June 03, 2026 at 11:59 PM

Entry Fee: $390 Championship Fee for exempt players

Championship Format:

Saturday, July 25th  - Practice Rounds

Sunday, July 26th - First two rounds of match play pod play

Monday, July 27th - a.m. Final round of pod play, p.m. playoffs

Tuesday, July 28th - a.m. Round of 16, p.m. Quarterfinals

Wednesday, July 29th - a.m. Semifinals, p.m. Championship Match

Any player posting a score of 15 or more strokes above the Course Rating, or who fails to complete a round for reasons other than injury (ex. NC), will be subject to review by GSGA’s Championship Committee and may be suspended from future competitions for a to be determined period of time.
