FORMAT: Day 1 - Four-Ball (play own ball and count best player's score)  / Day 2 - SDGA Chapman (both players tee off, hit each other's drive, choose one ball and alternate strokes)

 

AGE ELIGIBILITY:

• Mid-Amateur Championship - Men at least 25 years of age as of August 29, 2026
• Pre-Senior Championship - Men at least 40 years of age as of August 29, 2026

SCHEDULE: Anticipated schedule for each Division:

• Pre-Senior Division: Saturday AM starting times / Sunday PM starting times
• Mid-Am Division: Saturday PM starting times / Sunday AM starting times

ENTRY FEE:

• Early Buy Entry Fee: $270/team by July 29 (SAVE $50)

• Entry After July 29: $320/team 

• Final Entry Deadline: August 19 at 11:59pm CST

• Refund Deadline (90%): August 22

 

MAX CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD SIZE: 208

 

FLIGHTING: All teams will be pre-flighted using the Handicap Index. The number of flights and teams per flight will be arranged at the close of registration. 

 

SDGA ELIGIBILITY:

SDGA Championship registration is open to amateur golfers with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club and plays the majority of their golf in South Dakota. In addition the player must either: 1) have a permanent physical address in South Dakota, or 2) maintain full-time employment within the state. 

 

An out-of-state student physically attending college in South Dakota and enrolled in the current year’s spring, summer, or fall classes with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club is eligible.
