2026 Men’s Senior State Amateur Championship Information

Format: The tournament is scheduled for 54 holes of individual stroke play. If conditions necessitate the championship being shortened, it will be done at the conclusion of a stipulated round.

Practice Round: Practice rounds are available September 15th - 24th at a discounted rate of $50. Please contact Reunion Golf & Country Club (601-605-8784) to schedule practice rounds.

Championship Divisions: Senior (50+), Super Senior (60+), Grand Master (70+)

Player Check-In: TBD

Player Food & Beverage: At this time there will be no Food & Beverage provided for this Championship. Players may make purchases in the grill using cash or credit.

Cart Fees: All cart and green fees are included in the tournament entry fee. 

Spectator Carts: Spectator carts will not be permitted during this championship with the exception of a spectator who can provide an issued and active Handicap Permit. Final decision will be made by the MGA Staff and also the availability of carts at the host facility.

Caddies: Caddies are permitted during the championship. Players are responsible for supplying their own caddie. * MGA Cart Policy - there will be a maximum of 2 carts per group and 2 individuals per cart.*

Pairings: Pairings: Pairings for the opening round will be released and updated on the MGA website by Monday, September 21st. Pairings will also be included in the Player Information that will be emailed to each player by Monday, September 21st.

Electronic Measuring Devices: Electronic devices that measure distance only are permitted for this championship.

Withdrawal Policy: In the event of a tournament withdraw; the player must notify the Mississippi Golf Association Office at 601-939-1131. If withdraw is made prior to tournament deadline, the player may receive a refund regardless of reason less a $25 administrative fee. For a withdraw made after the entry deadline, the player WILL NOT receive a refund unless the player has experienced a sudden illness or injury, a signed Doctor's note is provided, and only if the Mississippi Golf Association is notified prior to the first round of the tournament.
