Notice to Players
126th WPGA Amateur Championship
The Kahkwa Club, Erie, PA
Monday June 8th & Tuesday June 9th
Format: 54 holes of stroke play with a field of 78 players. After 36 holes there will be a cut to the low thirty-two (32) scores & ties. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and any Local Rules and Conditions distributed prior to play. In the event of a tie for first place, a hole-by-hole playoff will take place on holes determined by the committee, as soon as practical.
Championship Schedule:
Monday, June 8th – Round 1 and Round 2. Round 1 starting times begin at 8:00am from #1 & #10 tee.
(36-Holes of Stroke Play, cut to low 32 & ties following completion of Round 2).
Tuesday, June 9th – Round Three, starting times begin at 8:00 AM (18-Holes of Stroke Play for the low 32 & ties after 36 holes).
Tee Markers: Play is from the WPGA WHITE tee markers. The course will play at a par 70, roughly 6,700 yards depending on conditions. Yardages may vary from round to round.
Practice: Practice rounds may be scheduled by contacting the golf shop at 814-838-1901. The PGA Golf Professional is Sean Moffat. Practice rounds are available at the discretion of the golf shop. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player. The practice range will open one hour before the first tee time each morning of the competition.

- Wednesday, June 3rd after 3:00pm
- Thursday, June 4th after 1:00pm
- Friday, June 5th after 3:00pm
- Saturday, June 6th after 2:00pm
- Sunday, June 7th after 2:00pm
- Practice rounds are at the discretion of the pro shop. Practice round fee is $75. If you choose to take a cart its an additional $30. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player.

Transportation/Caddies: Walking is required for the championship. Players may bring their own caddies or request a Kahkwa Club caddie. Caddies must walk in the performance of their duties. Push carts are permitted for the competition. Kahkwa caddies will be available for the championship and must be reserved in advance. Food & Beverage: Water will be provided on course during play. Lunch will be provided for players between Rounds 1 & 2 on Monday, June 8th. Lunch will be provided on Tuesday, June 9th , at the completion of play.
Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes. A four-point checkpoint system will be in place for the competition. Please review the WPGA Pace of Play Policy.
Note: A suspension for a dangerous situation will be signaled by one prolonged air horn note. All other types of suspension will be signaled by three consecutive air horn notes, repeated. Resumption of play will be signaled by two short air horn notes, repeated.
Footwear: METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.
Spectator Info: No spectator carts will be permitted for the round without being pre-approved by the WPGA. Please note that pre-approved carts are subject to club availability and course conditions.
