QUALIFYING INFORMATION FOR NON-EXEMPT PLAYERS:

  • Players that have not received an Exemption into the SDGA Men's Match Play Championship must qualify for the Championship through a Local Qualifier or the LAST CHANCE Qualifier
  • Exempt Player list and more information can be found HERE
  • Players may enter only one Local Qualifier
  • ALL players are eligible for the LAST CHANCE Qualifier, even if they have previously played in a Local Qualifier
  • The number of spots available at each site depends on the size and quality of the field. Available spots at each site will be announced after the close of entries.
  • Players who qualify will pay the Championship entry fee less $30

QUALIFYING ENTRY FEE:

  • Early Buy Entry Fee: $30 by May 27
  • Entry After May 27: $40
  • Final Entry Deadline for Local Qualifiers: June 17 at 11:59 pm CST
  • Final Entry Deadline for LAST CHANCE Qualifier: July 26 at 11:59 pm CST
  • Event entry fees do not include any applicable golf/cart fees which will be charged at the qualifying site(s)

SDGA ELIGIBILITY:

SDGA Championship registration is open to amateur golfers with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club and plays the majority of their golf in South Dakota. In addition the player must either: 1) have a permanent physical address in South Dakota, or 2) maintain full-time employment within the state. 

 

An out-of-state student physically attending college in South Dakota and enrolled in the current year’s spring, summer, or fall classes with an active Handicap Index™ issued by a current SDGA Member Club is eligible.
