HARBOUR POINTE MEN’S CLUB
MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT
Purpose
This Code of Conduct is intended to establish clear and acceptable behavior expectations for Harbour Pointe Men Club (HPMC) members. It is not intended to restrict the rights of anyone, but rather to ensure that all members are treated with respect while enjoying the Harbour Pointe Golf Course, practice facilities, and club house. The HPMC deems that upon payment of membership fees all members have given their consent to be bound by this Code of Conduct.
Objective
The objective of this policy is to ensure an environment that is free from misbehavior, violence, and discrimination, for members and visitors of the Club. HPMC’s goal is an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Bounds of Conduct
Unacceptable conduct may be deliberate, or unintended. The HPMC BOD has the sole discretion in determining whether conduct is detrimental to the Club.
Interaction with the Board of Directors

Resolution
- The party reporting a violation will provide written notification to the BOD within ten (10) days of the incident. Only written notices, electronic or otherwise, will be pursued by the BOD.
- If the BOD deems a violation of significance has taken place, it will be put on the agenda of the next BOD meeting, and written notice will be mailed to the party alleged to have committed a violation no less than 10 days prior to the next BOD meeting.
- At that meeting, the BOD shall offer the alleged member an opportunity to review the circumstances of the violation(s) and offer their rebuttal.
- After hearing all testimony, the BOD will determine the extent of the penalty, if any, which could include a written reprimand, temporary loss of playing privileges, suspension of membership, or expulsion from the Club. The BOD will issue written notification to both parties of their decision.
- In no event will the annual dues be returned to a party found to be in violation, that includes suspension of membership, or expulsion from the Club unless the HPMC BOD determines otherwise.
- In all cases, should there be damage to property, monetary restitution will be mandatory to replace or repair the damage, to continue membership.
