2026 Tournament Format

Crossover Start (7 AM & 12 PM)

Starter time every 60 minutes

Amateur and Professional participants are permitted to have a caddy

The Friday Night Horse Race, 15th Hole Beer Garden, and Saturday Night Party with take place!!

The Saturday Night Party will be hosted at the Canex Pavilion again in 2026. Come enjoy live music, a great buffet, and fun festivities Saturday night!!

 

 Amateurs must possess a validated Golf Canada membership card (no exceptions) - maximum index is 18.0. Dress Code is in effect.

Chilliwack Golf Club is proud to present the 2026 Chilliwack Men’s Open, taking place July 10, 11 & 12, 2026.

Thanks to the continued support of players, sponsors, and fans, this event has become a must-attend tournament for top professionals across British Columbia and holds the distinction of being the longest-running amateur tournament in the province.

REGISTRATION, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Registration is now open for the 2026 Chilliwack Open.

 

Entries will be accepted until Friday, July 3, 2026, or until the field is full.

Please note: No refunds will be issued after 12:00 PM on Friday, July 3, 2026.

The tournament draw will be available Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

Please check back on the Friday afternoon or evening prior to the tournament for any potential changes. While we strive to keep adjustments to a minimum, some changes may be unavoidable. It is each player’s responsibility to arrive well in advance of their scheduled tee time.

Round two tee times will be posted once all scores have been finalized on Saturday evening. We kindly ask that you avoid calling the Pro Shop that evening, as call volume is typically very high.

 

TOURNAMENT DAY REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2026 Chilliwack Men’s Open will open at 6:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, and will remain open until the final participant has checked in. Registration will take place in the Creekside Lounge. An ATM will be available on-site if needed.

 

During registration, players will have the opportunity to purchase:

  • Gross Skins Game – $40 total ($20 per round)

Breakfast will be available starting at 6:00 AM on both tournament days.

 

CADDIES

Caddies are permitted at the 2026 Chilliwack Men’s Open.

 

LIVE SCORING

For live scoring purposes, one player per group will be assigned to keep the group’s scores using the Golf Genius app on their smartphone. The login code (GGID) is a six-letter code provided at registration on Saturday morning. Use this code in the app under “GGID” to access your group’s digital scorecard. Minimal data is required (a few hundred KB).

 

All players are required to keep a physical scorecard and track their own score, even if they are also scoring for their partner in the app. If a player does not have the app, they must record their partner’s score on the top portion of the card and their own on the bottom.

 

If not all players in a group are able to use the app, one player may be designated to enter all four scores.

 

To maintain fairness in live scoring, groups that fail to enter scores on the mobile app will not be permitted to use their phones or mobile devices during the round, except for emergency calls. Failure to comply will result in a one-time warning per season. A second or subsequent violation will result in a one-stroke penalty per occurrence.

For 2026, live scorers will be provided for Sunday afternoon’s leading groups to ensure accuracy. The number of groups covered will depend on volunteer availability.

Chilliwack Golf Club has instructed Vancouver Golf Tour rules officials to enforce the tournament “Time Par.” Failure to adhere to the Time Par may result in penalties. Full guidelines are outlined in the Supplemental Local Rules.

FRIDAY HORSE RACE

The Horse Race returns this year, starting at 5:00 PM!

Enjoy music, a drink station, and more throughout the event.

Important: You must be a registered tournament participant to take part. Advance sign-up is required.

 

TOURNAMENT FOOD & BEVERAGE

All tournament participants will receive one meal and one drink voucher per day, generously provided by Sleeman Brewery. Vouchers may be redeemed before or after your round.

We kindly ask that once you have finished your meal, you make your seat available for other participants.

 

Meal Service Details:

  • Breakfast: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Saturday & Sunday) in the Creekside Lounge
  • Lunch/Dinner:
    • Saturday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the Creekside Lounge
    • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM in the Canex Pavilion

 

SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY

We are excited to announce the Saturday Night Party returns in 2026 and will once again be held at the Canex Pavilion. Enjoy an evening of great food, drinks, and multiple food and beverage stations throughout the venue.

  • Doors open: 6:00 PM 
  • Dinner service begins: 6:30 PM

Please remember to wear your wristband and bring your drink tickets for entry and service.

 

HOLE-IN-ONE COMPETITIONS (Presented by Hub International Insurance)

We are thrilled to welcome Hub International Insurance back as the sponsor of our Hole-in-One competitions. Players will have four chances each day, Saturday and Sunday, to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that one of our amateur golfers takes home the big prize!

Bonus: If a hole-in-one is made, the prize opportunity automatically resets for the remaining players.
