COMMITTEE EXEMPTIONS:
Eight (8) special exemptions for Professionals are available. Professionals are asked to submit an email applying for an exemption, addressed to the Vancouver Open Committee at info@vancouvergolftour.com. Players are asked to attach their playing history from the past two years.
NON-EXEMPT PROFESSIONALS:
There will be a minimum of 30 non-exempt Professional player spots available for the 2025 Vancouver Open. A minimum of the first 30 non-exempt Professionals to confirm their registration with payment will be guaranteed entry in the 2025 Vancouver Open field. If by June 30th the field is not full with exempt Professionals, all remaining eligible non-exempt Pros will be admitted into the tournament.
PRIORITY LIST - PROFESSIONALS:
The following players are exempt into the field and have their entries secured until June 30th, 2025. All exempt players must confirm entry fee payment by midnight on June 30th for their entries to be prioritized. After such a time, the field will be open to all players who have registered with payment on a first come, first paid basis.

If you fail to register in time to receive one of the 30 ‘non-exempt’ spots we have in the field, please email your request for an exemption into the 2026 Vancouver Open to info@vancouvergolftour.com, attention Vancouver Open Exemption Committee. Please provide your playing resume in the email.
NOTE: Players from Category 1-3 have until July 5th, 2026 to confirm their registration on the VGT Member Portal (members) and finalizing payment (all players) to guarantee their entry in the field.
All players registrations will show as ‘pending’ until their entry is confirmed with an auto-email letting you know your status has been moved from ‘wait list’ to ‘confirmed in player roster’. Any non-exempt player who pays for their entry and does not gain entry into the field will have their entry refunded in full.
Any player who registers for the Vancouver Open and gains entry into a PGA TOUR, KORN FERRY or PGA TOUR Americas event on same week as the Vancouver Open will have their entry fee refunded in full.
If the field is full at 100 Pros, but not full at 224 Amateurs by the deadline of Aug.14th (and if we have additional Professionals on the wait list beyond 100), we will fill the event with all remaining Pros on the wait list. The same applies if we are not full at 100 Pros by Aug.14th, and if we have a wait list of amateurs above the 224 allowed in the field, we will fill the field with Amateurs on pending list.
NOTE: Any player who enters with payment and does not gain entry will have their entries refunded in full.
TOURNAMENT WITHDRAWAL POLICY
All Players must provide at least 14 days’ notice at 6pm PST to qualify for a full refund of their entry.
ALL PLAYERS must confirm their withdrawal through their golf genius player profile and follow up with an email to info@vancouvergolftour.com by the deadline.
Players who provide less than 14 days’ notice for their withdrawal, but more than 8 days notice will qualify for a refund less $100 + GST admin fee.
Players who do not provide 8 days of notice of their withdrawal will forfeit their full entry fee. In this scenario, if we manage to fill a player’s position in the field with a player from the waitlist, withdrawn players will receive a full refund on their entry less $100+GST admin fee.
Players who register for the Vancouver Open and subsequently qualify for a KORN FERRY TOUR or PGA Tour America’s event (that conflicts with the Vancouver Open) will have their entry fees fully refunded, as long as VGT is notified in writing to info@vancouvergolftour.com more than 72 hours in advance and a player receives confirmation of this email.
Failure to notify VGT more than 72 hours in advance will result in the normal withdrawal policy applying above.
