The San Diego Players Cup 2026
Net Division
LPGA Amateurs San Diego is proud to present the 6th annual season-long San Diego Players Cup 2026 - Net Division, a stroke-play competition modeled after the FedEx Cup.

Event Format:
- This registration is for the NET division. It is NOT flighted. (A Gross division is being offered separately and players registering for Net may also register for Gross)
- The 1st Place Finisher in the Race to the 2026 Cup will receive a Revolving Trophy along with the 1st place cash payout. All the winners, trophy and cash payouts will be announced at the Holiday Party in December.
- Season will run from January 18, 2026 (Twin Oaks Member-Guest) and go through November 21, 2026.
- Champions and purse winners at the end of the season will be determined by points accumulated throughout eligible stroke-play events.
- Eligible Players Cup Events:
- Stroke Play Events (No match play, scrambles or other odd formats)
- Any short or long course with a course and slope rating
- Weekend and Weekday events in which there are a minimum of 6 Players Cup participants.
AGAIN This Year: Participation Points - Any Players Cup player playing in an eligible event will earn 5 points regardless of whether they earn finishing place points.
AGAIN This Year: ALL rounds for which a player earned any points will go into their final point total for the season.
Points System:
- All Players Cup players will be ranked by total NET score over the 18 holes for each event.
- The top 10 golfers earn points in descending order using the following point allocation for regular events (1/2 of these points for Midweek events)
1st – 50 pts
2nd – 36 pts
3rd – 26 pts
4th – 20 pts
5th – 18 pts
6th - 14 pts
7th - 12 pts
8th - 10 pts
9th - 8 pts
10th - 6 pts
Total points awarded will be 200 points per Event:

- Ties will split points evenly across the number of tied positions.
- Positions lower than 10th place earn no points that day, unless there were ties.
- 4 (four) SIGNATURE EVENTS: The Membership Kick-off (3/8 at Native Oaks) , Day 1 Partner Eclectic (4/12 at Dos Osos), Day 2 of the Chapter Championship (6/14 at RBI) and the Turkey Ball (11/8 at Steele Canyon) will earn 1- 1/2 times the regular event points.

Scoring and Play:
- This year, EVERY hole needs to be holed out, until the Max of 10 is reached.
- If you X out on any hole during an eligible round, you are disqualified from earning points for that round.
- 100% of your Course Handicap will be used in all events.
- Cup Standings will be available for viewing after EACH event on our chapter website and in Golf Genius using the GGID: 2026NETPC
Payout Distribution:
- $20 buy-in. The deadline to register is April 30, 2026.
- You cannot accumulate points until you buy in (i.e. no back calculation for prior events you played).
- Any year-end standing ties will be broken by the Number of Events played during the season, with the winner of ties being the player who played in MORE, not less, events.
- A player must play in at least five events to win any purse prize.
- The actual number of entries will determine the prize pool. About 25% of the players will be awarded cash prizes.
