When is the practice round? Information will be sent following the close of entries

Cart Included in Entry Fee? No

Do I have to be a Metropolitan Member to play? Yes, all players must be members of the Association by an Active Handicap Index

Is there a Handicapped Division? No

Can I use a Cart? Yes, cart usage is permitted, but will come at an additional cost to the player on the day of competition. Cart is NOT included in the entry fee.

Can I use a Caddie? Yes - players can bring their own caddie. Caddies will not be provided by the association. Bibs for caddies will be provided on the first tee and should be returned at the scoring tent after each round. Caddies are expected to adhere to the rules as laid out in the Rules of Golf and players are responsible for the actions of their caddie.

Can a parent or sibling be my Caddie? Yes. A sibling or parent may serve as caddie to a player. However, the committee does have the right to ban/remove such caddie at any time should behavior become inappropriate/unbecoming and distracting to other players in the field.

Are Range Finders Permitted? Yes - distance function only; no slope/elevation/other condition measuring - failure to turn these off can result in DQ

Are spectators allowed? Yes - we ask that spectators remain out of the way of players/play by remaining on or near cart paths.

Are spectator carts available? Yes - spectator carts are to be paid for and arranged directly at the course in the pro-shop. A limited number may be available at the discretion of the club.

Can spectators help with ball searches? Yes, spectators may help with a 3 minute ball search. They may also walk ahead and watch as a spotter so long as they do not interfere with play nor touch golf balls that are in play.

Can spectators interact with a player/give them food? A spectator may provide a player with food or beverage during their round. A spectator may also provide a jacket or umbrella when weather permits for it. Spectators should not provide any advice/coaching to players during rounds, nor touch a player's equipment (i.e.clubs, bag, ball in play) - doing so makes you a caddie and therefore makes the player on the hook for any breaches of the rules committed. Spectators should have little interaction with players and avoid distracting them during a round.

**If a player leaves a club or anything else behind by accident, you are permitted to touch it and return it to the owner (player).
