Notice to Players
16th WPGA Senior Four-Ball Championship
Monday, August 17th, 2026 

Green Oaks Country Club in Verona, PA

The competition is 36-holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf (Please see Rule 23). The ball scored must be individually identifiable by the player who scored his ball for each hole when signing and returning your scorecard. In the event of a tie for first place in either division, a hole by hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee.

Practice: Practice rounds may be scheduled (Tuesday - Sunday after 11:00am) by contacting the golf shop at 412-793-2000. The Golf Professional is Jason Hammel. Practice round fees ($85.50 which includes cart) are the responsibility of the player. 

Tee Markers: Play will be from the WHITE WPGA tee markers (Approximately 6,400 Yards) for the Senior Division.  Play will be from the BLUE WPGA tee markers for the Super -Senior Division (approximately 6,200 yards). Yardages will be contingent on course conditions.

Transportation/Caddies: Automotive transportation is permitted for the competition and included in the entry fee. Caddies are also permitted and must walk in performance of their duties.

Lodging: Lodging of various price ranges can be found in the Verona area (Click to View Rates).  

Food: The WPGA provides water on course, and lunch will be provided between rounds. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

Footwear: Model Local Rule G-7 Prohibiting Use of Certain Types of Shoes is in effect. Shoes with traditional spikes or spikes of any design that are entirely or partially made of metal is prohibited.

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and ten minutes (4:20). The Pace of Play Policy can be found HERE.

Spectator Info: No spectator carts will be permitted. Directions to the club can be found on the Green Oaks Country Club website.
