The CKNW Kids’ Fund Take-a-Swing Golf Tournament takes place at the prestigious Vancouver Golf Club on Monday, April 20th.
Get your foursome together to not only enjoy an incredible day of golf, but also to support BC kids with special needs and their families. All funds raised at the tournament help fund equipment, therapies, and programs that are crucial to the development and lives of kids with physical, mental and social challenges in our community. It is going to be a fantastic day on the course and we really hope you can join us!
Tournament Itinerary
10:00 am Registration Opens & Brunch Service begins
(All players receive a $100 MAUI JIM G.C. to shop for their
favorite pair of Maui Jims)
12:00 pm Shotgun start
4:30 pm Après Golf Reception
6:00 pm Evening Dinner Program with Hosts Chris Gailus and Jas Johal
7:15 pm Live Auction and Fund-a-Need with Fred Lee
8:15 pm Closing Remarks
Tournament Entry Includes:
- Welcome gifts (includes a $100 Maui Jim gift certificate)
- Brunch prior to golf
- 18-Holes of golf on the historic Vancouver Golf Club
- Shared power cart (2 carts per group)
- Team scramble tournament format with prizing
- On-course contests (KP, Long Drive, Hole-in-one)
- Fabulous buffet dinner
- Opportunity to bid on amazing silent and live auction items
- All proceeds supporting BC kids in need through the CKNW Kids' Fund programs

- Golf attire is suitable for dinner. Please review the VGC dress code policy that is attached for your reference.
