About: Designed for aspiring collegiate golfers aged 16-19, the Series helps players make an impact on their high school teams. It features several multi-day, 36-hole stroke play competitions, to prepare them for the collegiate level.

 

 

Apply to Play: We are currently accepting new applications for the 2026 Series. Players not already invited to join can apply for membership. To be considered, please submit a cover letter and a competitive resume to SDGASanfordSeries@sdga.org. Juniors 14 and older can apply, but priority will be given to sophomores, juniors and seniors, and players with SDGA Prep Tour experience and success.

Field Size: Registration is limited to the first 90 players. 21 spots will be held specifically for girls; if these spots are not filled, they will be opened to boys on the waitlist.

 

Ages: There will be a division for boys and girls ages 14-19. Players 19 years old who have graduated from high school in the current year are eligible as long as they have not started college. 

 

AJGA Performance Points Awarded:

  • Boys Champion - 2 Performance Stars
  • Boys Top-5 - 1 Performance Star
     

Tentative Schedule:

Day 1 - Hart Ranch GC - Tee times will start around 1 PM

Day 2 - Meadowbrook GC - Tee times will start around 8 AM

 

Tee Times:

Day 1 - Will be released 4 days prior to the event.

Day 2 - Based on Day 1 scores. Low scores off last.

 

Season Points: 

  • Top-10 players in each division receive season points.
  • Top point leaders are invited to play in the Series Championship on July 20 At Sutton Bay Golf Club.
  • Top finishers in each division will also receive PBE points from the AJGA.

 

Late Registration: $125 - Players are put on a waitlist and only charged if they get into the event.

 

Refunds: 90% by entry deadline / $0.00 after deadline
