Format:

 

PA Amputee and Adaptive Open – Saturday, May 16 & Sunday, May 17  

1.  This will be a 36-hole stroke play event played over a two-day period. 

2.  Participants will be paired by score on the second day. 

3.  This is a WR4GD counting event.

4. All Golfers will have their scores applied to the USAGA Ranking System for Disabled Golfers. (usaga.org) 

5.  USGA Rules of Golf will apply.  Golf handicaps will not be used.

6. Divisions: Championship (Blue-White Tee/5812yds), Senior Championship (Green Tee/5370 yds), Women's Championship (Red Tee/4948 yds, Associate's (White Tee/5326 yds)

 

Better Ball Event - Saturday, May 16

1.  Best Ball of Foursome (1 Best Ball of 4 strokes play at 85% handicap)

2.  Anticipate that each Foursome will have an EAGA amputee golfer playing in their foursome. 

3.  For the amputee player, this will also be the First Round of the PA Amputee and Adaptive Open.

4.  All amputees must putt out for their First-Round score.

5.  Proceeds will go to the EAGA Scholarship Fund. 

 

 

Starting Times: Both rounds of the competition will have a start time of 2:00 PM.

 

Caddies: Caddies are permitted for this event.  

 

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the Overall Champion, Women's Champion, Senior Champion, Associate Champion and Best Ball Champions. 

 

Ties: All other ties will be broken by using the USGA-recommended scorecard tiebreaking method.
