PLAY DAY BENEFITING SCGA JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

About SCGA Junior Golf Foundation

The mission of SCGA Junior Golf Foundation is to develop an inclusive golf community that enables kids to thrive on and beyond the course. The Foundation believes that every kid in Southern California, no matter their circumstance, should have the opportunity to pursue the game and experience the positive impact that it can have.

All participants must have: 1) an active SCGA Membership and 2) a Golf Genius profile to register for an event. These requirements apply to all attendees.

Join the SCGA for a play day with all proceeds directly benefiting the SCGA Junior Golf Foundation. Funds raised help provide access to golf, mentorship, and development opportunities for junior golfers across Southern California. Thank you to American Golf and Diamond Bar Golf Course for generously donating the course for the day!

Diamond Bar Golf Course

FORMAT:

  • 18 holes; two-person net scramble.
  • Two-player teams will represent each side.
  • After each shot, the better of the two players’ shots is selected, and both players will play from that spot until the ball is holed. Each player is required to use six (6) drives. One team's score is recorded for each hole.
  • Player A (lower-handicapped player) will receive 35% of their Course Handicap. Player B (higher-handicapped player) will receive 15% of their Course Handicap.
