PLAYERS MEMORANDUM FOR METROPOLITAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The following are matters pertinent to your participation in the above-referenced Championship. The following supplements the Championship regulations in the 36th Amateur Championship Entry Application and is in addition to the Local Rules and Terms of Competition and Notice to Players (prepared by the Committee and will be issued at the participants starting hole):

QUALIFYING PORTAL LINK: 36th METROPOLITAN AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
FORMAT/FIELD SIZE: 54 holes of individual stroke play. 156 players is the field size.
CUT PROCEDURE: Field will be cut to the low 40 scores and ties after Round 2.
CHECK-IN/STARTING TIME: There is no formal check-in requirement. Players MUST be ready to play at the starting time and starting hole set by the Committee. A starting time set by the Committee is treated as an exact time (for example, 9am means 9:00:00am, not any time until 9:01am).
PRACTICE: Country Club of St. Albans will be available to participants for one (1) practice round on Monday, July 27th. Practice Rounds registration will open on Friday, July 3rd at 10:00am. Everyone will receive an email within one hour of registration opening. Practice Rounds will begin at 10:00am, carts will be available for purchase through CCSA Golf Shop. The practice range will NOT be available on the day of the practice round.

FOOTWEAR: Model Local Rule G-7 as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect.
AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION: Automotive Transportation is PROHIBITED during the Championship.
SPECTATOR CARTS will NOT be available.
CADDIES: A participant may provide his own caddie or carry his own clubs. Pull carts are allowed during the Championship.
PACE OF PLAY: Metropolitan/USGA Pace of Play Policy for 2026 Metropolitan Amateur Championship is available under Player Information at the following link: PACE OF PLAY POLICY. All players will be required to play within the parameters of these Guidelines.
GROUPINGS/STARTING TIMES: Groupings and Starting Times for Rounds 1 & 2 will be published by end of day Wednesday, July 22 and will found on the Qualifying Portal link above. An email with your Round 1 Starting Time will be sent at that time.
LIVE SCORING: Golf Genius Live Scoring will be available on the website the day(s) of the Qualifying Rounds and via the Golf Genius app using GGID: 26METROAM
